Join Beth Brown Ables in a truly interactive course that explores the inspirations of the kitchen. You’ll read the magnificent memoir Blood, Bones and Butter, by Gabrielle Hamilton, as well as selected essays by food writers past and present, looking for the ways in which our senses sharpen our stories. You’ll learn how to make bread and jam, and delve into some of your own food memories on the page. The goal of this class is to come away with a polished essay, and a sense of how to feed yourself creatively.
