WRITING ABOUT BOOZE

  • M. Judson Booksellers 130 South Main Street Greenville, SC, 29601 United States (map)

Join WRITESHARE for our first in-person class since the shutdown!

For this interactive class, professional writer and bourbon-drinker Sam Slaughter will take over the bar on the fourth floor at M. Judson. Participants will be safely distanced while learning how to make drinks and write about them.

In this 2-part class, participants will read F. Scott Fitzgerald's On Booze, as well as essays by top contemporary drinks writers before generating their own essay about alcohol.

Because there’s an essential truth you may not know: writing about alcohol is never really about alcohol.
