Time is the glue that holds a work of fiction together. How and how much time passes in a story is key to figuring out a story’s structure. In this workshop, we’ll talk about specific techniques for how to organize your scenes, especially when they jump back and forth in time, and take a close look at how authors choose to reveal the passage of time in their stories, whether they take place over one day or a hundred years.
