Part writing workshop/part cooking class, join us as we read excerpts from food memoirs, record our own culinary memories, and preserve some of the late summer's best flavors. Participants will receive a box of local ingredients from Swamp Rabbit grocery as well as a booklet containing recipes and readings for the class. Learn the basics of waterbath canning (it's easy, promise), do some of your own memoir work, and you'll have plenty to keep you fed and creatively occupied through the winter.
